NSF Award Granted: “Virtual Sully”

Congratulations! We start a very interesting NSF funded project: “Virtual Sully”: Autopilot with Multilevel Adaptation for Handling Large Uncertainties. An interesting project regarding autopilots and their ability to mitigate risks inspired by the US Airways Flight 1549 in 2009 and Captain Chesley Sullenberger (“Sully”) and his co-pilot Jeffrey Skiles.
